ForNote Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 6, 2025
At ForNote, your privacy is our top priority. This privacy policy outlines how the application interacts with your data and explains your rights concerning privacy and data protection.
1. Data Collection
ForNote does not collect, process, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers.
All user actions—such as creating, editing, or managing notebooks and folders—are performed locally on your device.
2. File Access and Permissions
As of the current version, ForNote only operates within its own local environment and does not access any external files or system folders.
All notes and folders are created and stored exclusively inside the app, without requiring access to device files or storage.
There is no importing or exporting of external content (e.g., images, PDFs) in this version.
Accordingly, the app does not request any file-related permissions from the operating system.
3. Analytics and Tracking
ForNote does not include any form of:
Analytics software
Tracking systems
Cookies
Usage monitoring tools
Your usage data remains entirely private and inaccessible to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
ForNote is a self-contained application. It does not integrate with:
Cloud storage platforms
Advertising networks
External APIs or analytics SDKs
Your data is stored only on your device.
5. Data Security
As no data leaves your device, the responsibility for file security rests with the user. We strongly recommend using secure device practices—such as passcodes, encryption, and regular backups—to protect your notes and documents. Since ForNote does not store data externally or offer cloud backup, users are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups.
6. Policy Updates
This privacy policy may be revised to reflect future improvements or compliance with legal requirements. Updated versions will always be made available on this page with the new effective date clearly stated.
